Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…

7 Dec

We bought our Christmas Tree last night! Today is the official decorating day. 🙂

This morning, I woke up to a wonderful traditional breakfast with the family.

We scrambled eggs:

(1 egg + 2 egg whites for me)

Toasted some bread:

And you already know what this addict had to drink…

This time it was Bigelow green tea with Jasmine. Love!

My breakfast was eaten off the flower plate:

All together now:

Last night, before setting out to get our Christmas tree, we had another order of business to do. Remember these boxes?

We went to Walmart on a mission to fill them with as many goodies (and necessities, too of course) we could. The mission was accomplished…3 hours later. That was some serious shopping!

Seeing as we got a late start on getting out in the first place, we were behind schedule for Christmas tree shopping. We barely made it to Lowes before closing time, but luckily still found the perfect Christmas Tree, that was just right for us.

There was hot cocoa to be drank:

Thanks to Nunaturals:

  • 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 10 drops of cocoa bean stevia extract (or 1 stevia packet)

Stir cocoa powder and stevia into almond milk and microwave for 1-2 minutes.  Devour. 🙂

Then we got to work:

Jaci was all about playing with her toys, per usual:

the lights are done!

Putting our decorations up:

The final product:

Makes me happy. 🙂

For dinner we all had Fitnessista’s sweet potato and black bean chilli:

I definitely recommend it! It was the perfect thing to warm me right up. In the words of Fitnessista, I give it two almond butter covered thumbs up. 😉

Time to get to bed! Have a wonderful night!
