Move and Eat

10 Oct

I just completed quite the awesome early morning workout thanks to Julie and her Spooky Halloween Circuit.

Aa

I loved that there were plyo moves incorporated throughout the whole workout, keeping my heart rate up the entire time. I was huffing and puffing until the last rep. πŸ˜‰

It’s my favorite blog day of the week! I’m sure you know the reason…

Before I embark on exam #2 of the week (bleh), let’s clear off my I-photo pictures so far this week for W.I.A.W. shall we?

Um…yeah. The first pan went way too quickly, so this happened again. Good stuff, good stuff.

cheezey.

A little food prep went for the week:

IMG 4153

roasted broccoli

IMG 4150

sweet and savory zucchini muffins

IMG 4151

fudgy brownies

And of course a few dessert bowls:

IMG 4149

blueberry cheesecake in a bowl: 1/2 cup blended cottage cheese, 2 tbsp cream cheese, 1 serving vanilla casein protein powder, almond milk, stevia, blueberries. Top with flaxmeal and nut butter!

IMG 4096

peanut butter cookie dough…topped with peanut butter. Why yes, I do like peanut butter.

1 serving peanut flour, 1 serving Sun Warrior vanilla protein powder, 1/4 cup wheat bran, stevia, cinnamon, almond milk—>refrigerate then load on the toppings. πŸ˜€

Maybe I will have some more new things Β to show soon, but I have been doing a lot of repeats lately because it’s been easy on my overloaded school brain, ha ha. What I really want to make is an apple spice cake or pie. Ahhh, I love Fall food!

What is your favorite thing about Fall? Aside from food, i have been loving all the pretty colors outside. My walks around campus lately have been absolutely gorgeous with all the oranges, yellows, and reds falling from the trees. I love it!

I’d love your recipe for your pumpkin egg white oatmeal with Sun Warrior protein frosting? I just bought that protein powder, can’t wait to try it!

Sure! My pumpkin oatmeal I microwave it all the night before: 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup liquid egg whites, 1/2 cup pumpkin, 1 tsp baking powder, cinnamon. Then in the morning all I have to do is re-heat for a minute! My frostings, I usually just mix some protein powder with almond milk. I also add cocoa powder sometimes. Enjoy!

Delicious looking eats, girl! And I have to agree that one of the best things about Fall is probably the gorgeous colors outside… oooooh that and the smell. You know? That crisp, earthy scent of like… fallen leaves? Lol I don’t know how to describe it, but it absolutely rocks.
