Just Call Me Obsessed

1 Jan

I’m kind of obsessed with my new purse

004

006

don’t mind the workout attire. 😉

I think that it is perfectly justified to buy yourself a Christmas present.  This year, I went with that beauty. It was love at first sight. Not too big, not too small. Just perfect. FYI: Ebay is awesome for buying brand new, authentic designer bags at discounted prices. This was my second one I bought off ebay and both have been perfect. As a bargain shopper who likes nice things, I highly recommend this route!!

I’m also kind of obsessed with my bowl of oatmeal from this morning

003

This oatmeal technique was inspired by my love, Katie. Last night I blended 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup liquid egg whites, and cinnamon and let it all chill in the fridge overnight. This morning I cooked the mixture on the stove with 1 tbsp chia seeds. Well hello there VOLUME!!! Towards the end of cooking, I added a bit of cottage cheese to plump it up even more. Then came the toppings which included a giant fudgie, greek yogurt blobs, peanut butter, maple syrup, and some leftover banana bread bits. (thanks mom!) Ahhh, it was so good I can’t stop thinking about it!

After that digested, I headed off to complete my first workout of the New Year. Strength training was the name of the game. It’s been a while since I’ve talked exercise with you all so I thought I would post my workout today. It went a little something like this:

Along with some jumping jacks, high knees, and star jumps thrown in, it was a pretty good way to start out 1.1.11.

Off to enjoy the weekend! P.S. I’m still thinking about my New Years goals…I’ve got some in mind but don’t have it all mapped out yet. I will get to it soon!

"I hold the year in My Hands in trust for you. But I shall guide you one day at a time. Each day I supply the wisdom and the strength."
